Senior Product Designer (eCommerce)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of UX design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing B2B and B2C eCommerce projects.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, with solid experience in using and contributing to design systems.
  • Deep understanding of how to design and build effective, reusable components using variables within a design system.
  • Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail, including a solid understanding of color theory, typography, and layout.
  • Experience with user research methodologies, usability testing, and data-driven design.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer with e-commerce background. This person will be responsible for driving UX design across our customer’s e-commerce initiatives. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in both B2B and B2C eCommerce and be well-versed in using design systems. A successful candidate will also have experience creating scalable and reusable components and working with design variables in Figma.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead UX design efforts for assigned squad across B2B and B2C eCommerce platforms, from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to define, design, and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
  • Leverage your experience with design systems to create reusable components that maintain brand consistency and improve design efficiency. ·         Utilize variables within design systems to ensure flexibility and scalability across various platforms and devices.
  • Sometimes, conduct user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions and continuously improve the user experience.
  • Advocate for the user throughout the design and development process, ensuring high usability and accessibility standards are met.
  • Collaborate in an agile environment, working closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of design elements.

up to 15000 PLN (Senior)
